Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: 14 September 2026
This policy sets out the behaviour and content permitted on RoLove. It applies to every user, both in the app and on rolove.ro, and supplements our Terms and Conditions. Breaching it may result in content removal, suspension or permanent deletion of the account and, where the law requires it, referral to the authorities.
1. Adults only
RoLove is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Creating an account as a minor, or on behalf of a minor, is prohibited. Accounts we have reasonable grounds to believe belong to minors are closed immediately. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation — see Child Safety.
2. Real identity, one profile
You must not:
- impersonate another person, a company or a public body;
- use photos that are not yours, or images generated in order to deceive;
- create multiple, automated or fake accounts;
- sell, rent or transfer your account to anyone else.
3. Prohibited conduct
- harassment, threats, intimidation, stalking or blackmail;
- hate speech or discrimination on the basis of ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age;
- sending unsolicited sexually explicit content;
- spam, advertising, recruitment, pyramid schemes, or redirecting users to other platforms for commercial purposes;
- collecting or publishing other people's personal data without consent (doxxing);
- circumventing security measures, scraping, automation, or unauthorised access to the service.
4. Absolute prohibitions
The following are prohibited without exception and lead to immediate account closure, preservation of evidence, and referral to the competent authorities where the law requires it:
- any content or conduct involving child sexual abuse or exploitation (CSAE/CSAM);
- prostitution, escorting, paid sexual services, or facilitating them;
- human trafficking, forced labour or exploitation;
- romance scams, and any solicitation of money, investments or cryptocurrency;
- the sale of drugs, weapons, controlled substances or other illegal goods;
- content depicting extreme violence or self-harm, or encouraging suicide;
- intimate images shared without the consent of the person depicted.
5. No paid operators, no fictitious profiles
RoLove does not employ or pay anyone to chat with users. We do not use fictitious profiles, conversational bots or chat "animators". Every conversation on RoLove has a real person with their own account at the other end.
6. Payments and subscriptions
RoLove+ and other purchases are paid for exclusively through official channels (the App Store, Google Play, or, where available, payment on the website). Financial transactions between users inside the app are prohibited. Nobody from RoLove will ever ask for your card details in chat — any such message is an attempted fraud and should be reported.
7. How to report
Every profile and every conversation has a Report and a Block option. Reports reach our moderation team and are reviewed; where necessary we remove the content and close the account. You can also write to us at hello@rolove.ro. If someone is in immediate danger, call 112 (or your local emergency number).
8. How we enforce
Depending on severity and account history, we may remove content, restrict features, suspend the account temporarily, or close it permanently. Breaches of section 4 lead directly to permanent closure. We use a combination of user reports, automated content moderation and human review.
9. Appeals
If we close your account and you believe we got it wrong, write to hello@rolove.ro. We will review the case and tell you the outcome.
10. Requests from authorities
Our procedure for law enforcement is set out separately on the Law Enforcement Requests page.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes are announced in the app or by email.
